Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a Mobile Crisis LVN to respond to mental health crises in the field, travelling to caller locations to provide crisis intervention, assessment, documentation, and holds as needed.

The role supports the Mobile Response Team with supervision of the Peer Specialist and collaboration with licensed clinicians to de-escalate crises and connect individuals with resources in Lompoc and Santa Barbara County.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as an LVN.
• Current CA driver's license.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.
• Knowledge of DBT, WRAP, and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate responses to individuals during a mental health crisis.
• Travel to caller locations to provide crisis intervention and assess holds.
• Supervise the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT).
• De-escalate crises and coordinate with supervisors to connect individuals with resources.

Title: Mobile Crisis LVN

Job Duties: The Mobile Crisis LVN ensures we are providing safe, effective, and compassionate responses to individuals during a mental health crisis. The Mobile Crisis LVN will respond to calls from dispatch involving a mental health crisis in various settings. They will be required to travel to the location of the caller and provide crisis intervention services, including assessing and documenting holds. The Mobile Crisis LVN will also be responsible for the supervision of the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT). The Crestwood Behavioral Health Mobile Response Team (MRT) provides community-based interventions for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team is available to deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization. The MRT is staffed by Licensed/Registered Mental Health Counselors and Peer Specialists who can provide services throughout Napa County, including residences, parks, shelters, schools, and hospitals. The goal of MRT is to de-escalate the crisis and safely connect individuals with mental health care and resources.

• Full-Time: NOC

About the Mobile Response Team: The Crestwood Behavioral Health Mobile Response Team (MRT) provides community-based interventions for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team can deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization. The MRT is staffed by Licensed/Registered Mental Health Counselors and Peer Specialists who can provide services throughout Lompoc and Santa Barbara County, including residences, parks, shelters, schools, and hospitals. The goal of the MRT is to de-escalate the crisis and safely connect individuals with mental health care and resources.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$40 - $46.37 USD
