Job summary

Westmoreland Community Action is seeking several part-time Crisis Worker 2s to provide telephone crisis intervention and mobile services to distressed Westmoreland County residents. You will use counseling skills to respond to crises, coordinate resources, and support individuals in acute distress while traveling as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining a 24/7 call center across three shifts and delivering in-person crisis support.

Qualifications

• Provide crisis intervention services including psycho-educational coaching.
• Maintain 24/7 call center presence across three shifts.
• Travel using agency vehicle to respond to acute emergency calls.

• Maintain 24/7 call center presence through three different shifts.
• Travel using agency vehicle to respond to acute and emergency calls where such cases warrant.
