Job summary

CMHA-CEI is a Michigan Certified Bronze Level Veteran Friendly Employer. This role provides crisis intervention services to adults with mental illness or co-occurring disorders, in office and community settings, with a focus on coordination of care and thorough case documentation.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, two years of crisis intervention experience, and a valid Michigan driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required.
• Two years of experience working with adults with mental illness.
• Two years of professional crisis intervention experience.
• Michigan credential is required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention services to individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
• Deliver services in office and community settings.
• Collaborate with community partners to determine treatment options and follow-up care.
• Document case work thoroughly and maintain records.
• Assess behaviors and trauma through interviews and observations to develop crisis plans.
