Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling or related human service field.
• Two years of supervised clinical experience may replace a degree.
• CRSS or IAODAPCA credentials are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and mental status assessments and determine level of care.
• Develop or reinforce safety and service plans with the individual and supports.
• Lead the clinical component on scene and ensure clinical integrity.
• Coordinate with emergency services and community providers as needed.
• Provide de-escalation and evidence-based crisis intervention.
• Document findings and dispositions clearly and timely.
• Deliver linkage and warm handoffs to treatment providers.
