Job summary

Limitless Decatur is seeking compassionate Crisis Counselors for full-time roles in crisis response. The position involves supporting individuals facing mental health crises within community settings.

Qualified candidates should possess a degree in a human services-related field and have experience in crisis services. Responsibilities include face-to-face crisis interventions and collaborating with teams to ensure effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must meet criteria to function at minimum as a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
• Experience in crisis services strongly preferred.
• Master's-level Qualified Mental Health Professionals must obtain licensure within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face, phone, and virtual crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain strong relationships with referral sources and partner agencies.

Skills

Ability to engage individuals in behavioral health treatment

Flexibility

Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication

Ability to navigate an electronic health record

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services-related field
