Easterseals PORT Health in Northern Virginia is seeking a compassionate Mobile Crisis Coordinator to support individuals with behavioral health crises, including those with I/DD, by facilitating engagement, stabilization, and resolution whenever possible.

You will conduct community stabilization sessions, build partnerships with local agencies, and coordinate admissions for crisis homes, on a rotating on-call schedule with travel to Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a license-eligible field (social work, counseling).
• Licensed or Licensed-Eligible as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
• 1 year experience with mental health populations and I/DD preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Suite.

Your Role in Our Mission

The REACH Mobile Crisis Coordinator (MCC) plays a vital role in bringing a calm, caring presence and connection to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This response includes meeting the individual in an environment where they are comfortable to facilitate service engagement, stabilization, and resolution of the crisis when possible. Beyond crisis response, you'll provide community stabilization sessions, build and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies, and coordinate admissions for our crisis homes. You'll also be part of a rotating on-call schedule to ensure help is always within reach. This position requires community travel to: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William VA. (Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to one of the mentioned locations).

Schedule:

(3) 12-hour shifts 9a-9p and (1) 4-hour shift: Sunday - Wednesday

We also offer a full benefits package for benefits-eligible positions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $61,000 - $70,000 based on possible licensure and experience
• Sign-on & retention bonus is paid out at successful completion of 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year for full-time, new hires. Plus, enjoy additional yearly stipends provided as grant funding permits!

What We're Looking For
