Qualifications

• Master's degree in a license-eligible field (social work, counseling).
• Licensed or Licensed-Eligible as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT.
• 1 year of experience with mental health populations and I/DD preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Suite, and technically savvy.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis response by meeting individuals in environments comfortable to facilitate engagement, stabilization, and resolution when possible.
• Deliver community stabilization sessions and coordinate admissions for crisis homes.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local agencies to support ongoing care and referrals.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule to ensure help is available; travel to Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William VA as needed.

Your Role in Our Mission

TheREACH Mobile Crisis Coordinator (MCC) plays a vital role in bringing a calm, caring presence and connection to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This response includes meeting the individual in an environment where they are comfortable to facilitate service engagement, stabilization, and resolution of the crisis when possible. Beyond crisis response, you’ll provide community stabilization sessions, build and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies, and coordinate admissions for our crisis homes. You’ll also be part of a rotating on-call scheduleto ensure help is always within reach. This position requires community travel to: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William VA. (Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to one of the mentioned locations).

Schedule:

(3) 12-hour shifts 9a-9p and (1) 4-hour shift: Sunday - Wednesday

• Competitive salary: $61,000 - $70,000 based on possible licensure and experience
• Sign-on & retention bonus is paid out at successful completion of 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year for full-time, new hires. Plus, enjoy additional yearly stipends provided as grant funding permits!
