Job summary

Imind Health LLC in Lanham, Maryland seeks a Licensed Clinician for the Mobile Response Stabilization Services Team (MRSS) to support youth, families, and school staff in crisis across Prince George’s County.

The role involves on-site crisis assessments, collaborations with multidisciplinary teams, and leadership of peer recovery staff to stabilize individuals in crisis while linking clients to needed services and supports.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
• Maryland State license required
• At least 2 years of crisis intervention experience
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Respond to mental health crisis calls and provide immediate crisis assessment and intervention on site
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and make referrals to appropriate services
• Connect clients to employment, education, and economic benefit programs
• Offer harm reduction options, including naloxone, while promoting treatment
• Work to divert clients from the criminal justice system for low-level behavioral health offenses
• Collaborate with other MRSS team members for coordinated crisis response
• Communicate clients’ needs to multi-disciplinary teams (law enforcement, hospital staff)
• Provide de-escalation techniques and clinical interventions to clients in crisis
• Lead a team of peer recovery specialists and ensure MRSS mission compliance
• Provide clinical education and training to peer support staff as necessary
• Document each client contact in a timely and accurate manner
