Job summary

Thresholds is seeking a Crisis Worker to respond to mental health crises in the Uptown, Lakeview, and North Center communities. You will work with a Peer Engagement Specialist to provide the least restrictive intervention and connect callers to services or arrange face-to-face support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of supervised clinical experience or relevant higher education.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field; licensure paths encouraged.
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field; licensure options supported.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mental health crises during shifts in Uptown, Lakeview, and North Center.
• Conduct rapid safety assessments and determine appropriate interventions.
• Provide or arrange appropriate services, including face-to-face visits when needed.
• Document services provided and follow up with clients as required.
• Participate in professional development through supervision and self-directed projects.
