Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required for QMHP credentialing.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• May require travel to rural areas of the Texas Panhandle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
• Deliver crisis intervention services and follow-up for the MCOT service area.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, and social services; educate the community about crisis resources.
• Document interventions per agency standards; participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
• Visit hospitals to meet clients, establish care plans, and continue post-discharge care.
• Utilize evidence-based, person-centered care to build rapport with clients.
