Job summary

Craneworks is seeking a Shop Crane Technician in Houston to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain a range of crane equipment including mobile cranes. The role requires 3+ years of crane mechanic experience with electrical and hydraulics, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints.

Overtime and weekend work may be required; travel is limited. Strong safety and customer service skills are essential for successful field and shop tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mobile crane mechanic/ technician experience.
• Ability to inspect cranes and diagnose defects.
• Familiar with CANBUS, PAT, ECOS and related systems.
• Reads operating and parts manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain crane equipment.
• Operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
• Test mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems after repair.
• Fill out reports, hours and work orders accurately.
• Maintain safety compliance and quality standards.
