Job summary

CraneWorks, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain crane equipment including mobile cranes. The role requires mechanical experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, strong safety discipline, and the ability to build customer relationships in the field.

Travel is required periodically, with typical hours ranging and overtime possible. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.
• Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Capable of working independently and maintaining safety procedures.
• Willingness to travel 1–4 day intervals for field work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain crane equipment including mobile cranes.
• Test mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems after repair to ensure OEM compliance.
• Prepare parts and drawings for jobs and ensure accuracy.
• Fill out reports, time sheets, and paperwork timely and accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with customers.
