Job summary

MGX Equipment Services, LLC is seeking a Shop Crane Technician in Aiken, SC to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks.

The role reports to the Branch Manager at the Aiken branch and includes a $4,500 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days. Essential duties include inspections, repairing hydraulic/electrical components, reading schematics and documenting reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years of mechanic/technician experience.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
• Repair and troubleshoot mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; fix hydraulic/electrical components.
• Read blueprints, manuals and diagrams.
• Test equipment after repair to ensure OEM compliance.
• Prepare parts and drawings for jobs; ensure accuracy.
• Perform annual inspections.
• Complete reports, hours and expense documentation.
• Work independently without supervision.
• May weld as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
