Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a sales-oriented engineer focused on mobile control systems. You will design and analyze control solutions, select components, and troubleshoot customer issues for both new and existing projects.

You will identify opportunities, forecast sales, and maintain CRM records while staying current with technical training to support solutions for customers in automation and electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree (BSEE, BSME preferred) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years technical application experience.
• Minimum 3 years sales experience in automation or related discipline.
• Product knowledge in mobile control systems, methods and hardware.
• Engineering knowledge in mobile systems, including electro-hydraulic operation and canbus/drive-by-wire.
• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation is a plus.
• Ability to identify scenarios and excel at solution and component sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication and proposal skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mobile control system design, system analysis, and component selection for projects.
• Design and recommend mobile electronic controls, troubleshoot customer problems, and propose solutions.
• Identify new customer opportunities and increase market share for the electromechanical line.
• Understand products and present solutions independently.
• Document activities in CRM and complete monthly reports as required by management.
• Forecast monthly and annual business plans showing projected sales and quotas.
• Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge through regular training.
