Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Sales Engineer to design mobile control systems, analyze projects, and select components while recommending solutions. The role requires a 4-year engineering degree, 2+ years of technical application experience, and 3+ years in automation sales with strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of technical application experience.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in automation at OEM or End User accounts.
• Product knowledge in mobile control systems, CAN bus and drive-by-wire applications.
• Solid written and verbal communication; capable of presentations.
• Experience identifying opportunities and selling both solutions and components.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to document activities in CRM.
• Knowledge of Parker Hannifin mobile controls hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify new customer opportunities and increase market share for the electromechanical product line.
• Understand products and present solutions independently.
• Document activities in CRM and complete monthly reports as required by management.
• Forecast monthly and annual business plan showing projected sales and quotas.
• Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge through training.
