Job summary

BC Tech Pro seeks a Computer Field Technician in the Athens, GA area. You will perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units, with prior hardware experience required. Dell and Lenovo certifications are provided free during onboarding.

This 1099 contract role pays $35 per ticket, with 2–5 calls per day. You’ll handle warranty service repairs, coordinate on-site visits, and manage parts logistics (FedEx pickups and returns) while maintaining portal access and timely

Qualifications

• Experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
• Be able to log into your tech portal by 9 am to accept, code and map calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
• Log tickets and update status; plan on-site visits with customers.
• Parts are provided by manufacturers; pick-up at FedEx and return removed parts as directed.
