Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a Hot & Cold Technician to service and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment from the Wilson, NC market. The role requires independence, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach to service deliveries.

You will travel within the region, operate a company vehicle, and adhere to safety and quality standards while providing excellent support to customers and branch staff.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of commercial kitchen repair and refrigeration experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
• Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays for on-call rotation.
• Own industry-standard hand tools.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates with customer and branch staff regarding repair status and scheduling.
• Completes service tickets according to procedures.
• Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Maintains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
• Sets a positive example for less experienced technicians.
• Follows all company policies and safety procedures.
