Job summary

Tech24, including CKR, is seeking an experienced Commercial Foodservice Technician to service and repair restaurant kitchens. You will drive a company vehicle to customer sites, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires 3-5 years of related experience, willingness to travel within the region, and availability for nights, weekends, and on-call shifts. Growth opportunities and manufacturer-certified training are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Superb customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Standard computer skills and ownership of industry-standard hand tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on-call.
• Prior industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Inspect equipment and components to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Communicate with customers and staff to provide updates and manage schedules.
• Complete service tickets accurately and promptly.
• Maintain truck stock to ensure parts availability.
• Keep service vehicles, tools, and uniforms compliant with Tech24 standards.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and demonstrate professionalism.
• Follow all company policies with focus on safety.
