Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Servicemen to join our growing team. You will service and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, including centrifugal, absorption, screw and scroll chillers, and participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-outs.

Two years of hands-on experience and EPA Universal Certification are required. Training through STA and direct access to factory support help you stay current with safety and technical standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and repair of three phase Commercial HVAC equipment, RTUs, heat pumps and fans.
• A valid driver’s license.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems and recommend solutions for efficiency.
• Identify enhancements to improve system reliability and sustainability; provide labor and material quotes.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-out service on a rotating basis.
