Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Servicemen to join our team in a dynamic, on-site role. You will commission, service and maintain advanced commercial equipment while advising customers on comfort and efficiency.

A two-year experience minimum, a valid driver’s license, and EPA refrigerant certification are required. The position offers competitive pay with union benefits and a path for career advancement through our Service Technical Academy (STA).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Identify and implement enhancements for system reliability and efficiency.
• Provide labor and material quotes to support recommendations.
• Work on weekend, night, and holiday callouts on a rotating basis.
• Collaborate with customers as a trusted advisor on comfort and efficiency.
