RSC Mechanical is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, with on-call duties and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience and working knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Self-starter who can work independently or in a team.
• Customer-focused mindset with good communication.
• Technicians provide their own standard hand tools.
• Comfort with smartphones, tablets, and digital work order systems.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems with precision.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Prioritize safety by securing work areas and powering down when needed.
• Handle refrigerants safely per EPA regulations.
• Read diagrams, manuals, and schematics accurately.
• Repair and replace compressors, motors, and fans.
• Provide professional service during emergency calls.
• Work with EMS systems (CPC, Tracer, HMI) and coordinate with customers.
• Log service reports accurately on mobile/digital platforms.
• Communicate professionally with store managers and teams.
• Complete tickets and timesheets accurately and on time.
• Deliver high-level customer service to retail and commercial clients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
