RSC Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician in Tuscaloosa, AL. The role requires EPA Universal Certification, a clean driving record, and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

You will install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including walk-ins and rack systems, while delivering excellent customer service. The position offers a full-time schedule, on-call rotations after training, overtime opportunities, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; extensive driving is a key part of the role.
• Experience and working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines).
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems with confidence.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Log service reports accurately using mobile/digital platforms.
• Provide professional service during emergency calls and coordinate with customers and dispatch.
