Job summary

RSC Mechanical is seeking experienced Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our growing team. We’re a family-owned commercial service company with a track record of caring for technicians and delivering reliable service across the U.S.

You'll install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including walk-ins, rack systems, and ice machines, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; extensive driving is a key part of the role.
• Experience with HVAC and commercial refrigeration is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are expected.
• Technicians must supply standard hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Experience with CO2 refrigeration racks including transcritical/subcritical systems preferred.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems with confidence.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Prioritize safety and identify root causes of failures.
• Handle refrigerants safely per EPA regulations.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Repair/replace compressors, motors, fans and other components.
• Provide professional service during emergency calls.
• Log service reports using mobile/digital platforms.
• Communicate professionally with store managers and team.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
