Job summary

RSC Mechanical is seeking experienced Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our growing team. This family-owned company, with nationwide service across the United States, values care, consistency, and collaboration in a supportive, long-term career.

You will install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including CO₂ rack systems, read diagrams, and log reports, while prioritizing safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience and working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Technicians supply their own standard hand tools; ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Strong communication with clients and team; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems with confidence.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems.
• Follow safety protocols and EPA regulations for refrigerants.
• Read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
• Repair and replace compressors, motors, and fans.
• Log service reports using mobile/digital platforms.
• Collaborate with customers, dispatch, and technicians to ensure seamless service.
• Complete tickets and timesheets accurately and on time.
