Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development
• Knowledge of family dynamics

• Ability to work in a mobile/remote environment when needed

Responsibilities

• Responds quickly in crisis situations involving children.
• Conducts forensic investigations of reports of abuse/neglect to determine if abuse occurred.
• Observes children for signs of harm and assesses safety.
• Interviews families, reporters, and professionals involved in cases.
• Determines actions to protect a child and may remove the child from a family.
• Maintains documentation and completes required forms accurately.
