Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist to fit and train patients with wearable defibrillators. The role supports the sales team and Regional Clinical Advisors, serving as the local patient care representative in the Rancho Mirage, CA area.

You will travel to hospitals and patient homes, conduct fittings, and ensure proper documentation and confidentiality, with training and certification provided by Kestra.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background including nurses, clinical engineers, or related roles.
• Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable).
• Background check completed; Florida and Ohio require level 2 screening.
• Ability to cover vendor credentialing costs during a 90-day probation.
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with wearable defibrillator devices as assigned.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals, patient homes, and clinics for fittings.
• Measure patients to determine garment size and document paperwork.
• Manage inventory of kits, garments, and equipment.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and HIPAA requirements.
