Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator in the Atlanta, GA area. This contractor role involves patient care, scheduling, and travel to hospitals and patients’ homes.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of paid patient care experience, a clinical or engineering background, and a willingness to be trained and certified as an ASSURE Patient Specialist. Flexibility and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver)
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, clinical engineers, or ECG technicians
• Background checks including level 2 screening in some states
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally
• HIPAA and safety training completion

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and confidence to ASSURE patients.
• Coordinate with prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals and patients’ homes for fittings.
• Manage inventory of kit components and equipment.
