Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a 3-4 month, full-time contract. Travel regionally to patient homes for in-home cardiac and vascular imaging, averaging 25 visits per month, with travel expenses reimbursed.

You will operate portable ultrasound equipment, obtain consent, and perform echocardiograms and vascular studies per protocol, delivering preliminary reports.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS) and vascular imaging (RCS) required, plus RVT/RVS credentials.
• Full-time availability with a willingness to travel regionally.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits (avg 25/month).
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular studies per protocol.
• Prepare preliminary reports with measurements and comments.
• Ensure labeling meets cardiology review standards.
