Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for an in-home imaging role across the United States. This is a full-time travel contract for 3-4 months with monthly stipends.

You will travel to patient homes, operate portable ultrasound equipment, perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging, and ensure high-quality data collection per protocol. Travel expenses are reimbursed, and the arrangement can extend based on performance.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging.
• Full time or near full time availability.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regionally.
• Ability to work independently in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to conduct imaging visits (~25 per month).
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Maintain imaging quality and proper labeling for review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and comments.
• Adhere to ASE standards and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
