Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Building Engineering Technician to support multiple facilities around Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems while ensuring safety and environmental conditions meet client expectations.

You will travel extensively within the Fort Lauderdale area, manage work orders, and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum four (4) years experience as a building engineer.
• Universal EPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
