Job summary

Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit organization providing home and community-based behavioral health services. As a Mobile Behavioral Health Worker, you will meet clients where they live or learn, teaching independent living and social skills while linking them to supports to promote recovery and independent living.

You will document progress, manage a caseload, and engage in skill-building and advocacy as part of a compassionate, recovery-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year mental health direct service preferred.
• Associate degree with 2 years mental health direct service.
• CPS certificate with 1 additional year mental health direct service.
• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in human services including 1 year mental health direct service.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with a caseload of clients in home or community to teach independent living, social, and job-search skills.
• Maintain a weekly schedule with most time in face-to-face client meetings.
• Document client meetings and interventions clearly, including responses and concerns.

Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, 3rd party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach and housing program.As a Mobile Behavioral Health Worker with Chartiers Center, you will provide individualized, community-based support to program participants in their homes and throughout the community. You will help individuals develop the skills, confidence, and resources needed to achieve greater independence, improve daily functioning, and work toward their personal recovery goals.
