Job summary

AAA Topeka is seeking a Mobile Battery Technician to join our Roadside Assistance team. This full-time role involves changing tires, jumpstarts, fuel delivery, and battery service in varied weather. No CDL is required and paid training is provided, with opportunities for overtime and monthly bonuses.

Eligible candidates should be at least 21, hold a high school diploma, and have a valid driver's license. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) with company match, health plans, and a Free AAA Membership.

Qualifications

• 3 years in an automotive/mechanical environment or 3+ years in sales/customer service preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and complete required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire changes.
• Sell and install car batteries (Mobile Battery position).
• Operate service vehicle and document calls using in-truck tech; handle payments and reports.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for safe operation; assist at events as needed.
