Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. This hands-on role suits someone with automotive, electrical, or installation background who enjoys learning new technology.

You’ll travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and right-first-time work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and diagnostic connections.
• Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
• Test devices and system functionality; diagnose issues.
• Document installations with photos and service notes.
