Torque by Ryder is actively hiring a Permanent Full Time Entry Level Mobile Automotive Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Fayetteville, NC. The role offers weekly pay and an hourly rate up to $23 based on experience, plus a retention bonus of $2,000 paid quarterly within the first year.

You will help manage a fleet of light-duty trucks, with benefits such as PTO from day one, merit increases, 401(k) match, PPE and boot allowances, and paid maternity leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or professional diploma preferred.
• One to two years in related experience or more is desirable.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Assist with basic diagnostics under guidance.
• Work with a senior technician to diagnose issues and complete repairs.
• Maintain documentation of work orders and service notes.
• Follow safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
