Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our automotive support team in the United States. You will apply technical knowledge to assist customers, support Autel scanning units, and explain vehicle diagnostic procedures.

Candidates should have 2+ years of diagnostic experience, preferred I-CAR and ASE certifications, and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic technician.
• I-CAR and ASE certifications preferred.
• Must have or obtain proper tools to complete duties.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Minimum age 21+ years.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (reach, kneel, lift >50 lbs).
• Ability to read and understand instructions, estimates and work orders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide personable, friendly customer service.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions relating to Autel scanning procedures.
• Conduct research to understand, explain, and resolve vehicle technology issues.
• Perform all-purpose duties as assigned.
• Provide top tier service to customers.
