Job summary

Safelite is looking for a skilled Glass Technician to service Safelite Shop and Mobile Glass Shop locations in a fast-paced environment. You will focus on safety, quality, and exceptional customer service while performing glass repairs and replacements.

You will also recalibrate automotive safety systems, troubleshoot, and operate specialized tools like True Seal, Ezi-Wire, and GTS. The role requires driving company vehicles and engaging customers with professionalism.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
Safelite SafeTech certification required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service.
Clean customer vehicles after every job.
Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including trouble-shooting and completing diagnostic testing.
Proficiently operate Safelite’s tools and technologies, including: True Seal®, Ezi-Wire™, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals (as required bv the "Safelite Way of Fitting", work order and customer administration systems, and Safelite's handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.
Communicate with all scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; present, promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
