Job summary

Glass America in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and other glass in vehicles. You may work in-shop or on a mobile basis, using proper tools to ensure timely, quality installations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 4–6 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license. You must pass a background/MVR check and drug screen; benefits include PTO, holidays, health insurance, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 4–6 years of related work experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Background check, MVR and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass in shop or on mobile basis.
• Use proper tools to ensure efficient, quality installation.
• Complete required paperwork for Glass America.
• Maintain a safe driving record per company policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass in the truck as needed.
• Report issues to the Glass Manager promptly.
• Maintain high quality control and customer service.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined.
• Maintain good rapport with supervisors and co-workers.
