Job summary

Glass America Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking Auto Glass Technicians to replace broken or pitted windshields and window glass in motor vehicles, in-shop or on a mobile basis, with a focus on quality installation and outstanding customer service.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 4–6 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years of related work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis with quality and efficiency.
• Ensures paperwork is completed and submitted to the correct location.
• Maintains a safe driving record in accordance with policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed with proper tools.
• Loads glass in the truck as required.
• Reports issues to the Glass Manager promptly.
• Maintains high quality control and excellent customer service.
• Ensures equipment is operating properly.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains good rapport with supervisors and coworkers.
