Job summary

Glass America in Merrillville, IN is hiring Auto Glass Technicians. You will replace windshields and window glass in vehicles, with in-shop or mobile installations, ensuring quality work and timely service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and 4–6 years of related experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. The role supports safety, paperwork, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years of related work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Uses proper tools/techniques for quality installation.
• Completes paperwork for appropriate location.
• Maintains a safe driving record per policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Loads glass in the truck and follows up with management on issues.
