Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment, using digital tools, effective communication, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions to identify needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including solutions that help customers understand how to self-serve via the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new products, processes, and system knowledge. Review results, promotions, and updates regularly to stay customer-ready. Support onboarding of customers across store locations, perform store operations, and secure assets, including carrying keys and reporting issues.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Proactively follow up, manage referrals, and build relationships with new and existing customers. Perform price overrides for specific offers as needed.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer advocacy and balancing experience with performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to collaborate, share best practices, and serve customers effectively (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Driven and confident in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, training pay applies. Afterward, promotion to Mobile Expert includes an incentive target of $18,000/year, with actual incentives based on performance. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Every employee is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
