Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are essential members of the Retail Team responsible for representing the T-Mobile brand within National Sales partner locations. They focus on active customer engagement, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. These associates thrive in high-traffic environments, are passionate about technology, and excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions to meet those needs, exceeding performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail setting using digital tools, effectively communicate, educate, and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate product and service value, including guiding customers on using the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, systems, and resources; review performance metrics and updates regularly; collaborate with nearby stores for customer onboarding; perform store operations including opening, closing, and securing assets.
  4. Provide passionate, friendly, and engaging customer service; build rapport, trust, and loyalty; proactively follow up, manage referrals, and foster relationships with new and existing customers; perform price overrides for special offers when necessary.
  5. Develop relationships with store leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and effective communication skills (Required)
  • Desire to work collaboratively and share best practices within the team (Required)
  • Competitive sales drive and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, with on-the-job training and incentive opportunities. After training, eligible for an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, insurance options, discounts, and more.
