Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions.

Mobile Associates are skilled at identifying customer needs, educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to communicate effectively, educate, and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including onboarding and self-serve options.
  3. Complete training on store experience, products, systems, and processes; review personal results and promotions to stay customer-ready. Support onboarding of customers with nearby stores, perform store operations, and secure kiosk assets.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect personally, build rapport, trust, and loyalty; provide exceptional service; proactively reach out to potential customers; follow up, capture referrals, and manage sales processes.
  5. Build relationships with store leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer satisfaction: passionate advocate, able to balance experience and performance (Required)
  • Team building: willing to collaborate, learn, and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail sales: competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Hourly Pay: $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, eligible for incentives; guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
