Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates exceed their performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  • Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and recommend solutions to deepen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, products, systems, and reference resources. Partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding. Perform store operations, including opening/closing procedures and securing assets.
  • Provide exceptional service, connect personally with customers, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary.
  • Build relationships with store leadership and teams to support customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer advocacy and balancing experience with performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willingness to collaborate and share best practices with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Confidence and drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly base pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, eligible for incentives and annual stock grants.
