Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed their performance targets by doing it the right way, excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment, using digital tools, communicating effectively, educating customers, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, identify customer needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including helping customers understand how to self-serve and utilize the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products, processes, and system knowledge. Review personal results and current promotions regularly. Partner with nearby store locations to onboard customers and perform store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and securing assets.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect on a personal level, build rapport and trust, and exceed customer expectations. Proactively reach out to potential customers, follow up, capture referrals, and manage Be Back processes to build relationships.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Customer satisfaction passion, team building, retail sales drive, and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced environment (Required)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and at least 18 years old

Safety Sensitive Position: No
Hourly Base Pay: $18.00/hour

Within the first 90 days, receive on-the-job training and be eligible for incentive pay. After training, promote to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour including incentives. Additionally, all employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
