Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are vital members of the Retail Team, responsible for embodying the T-Mobile brand within National Sales partner locations. They focus on active customer engagement, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world, thrive in high-traffic environments, and excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates aim to exceed performance targets by delivering excellent sales and customer service.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Engage proactively with customers in a busy retail setting, using digital tools to educate and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and apply solution-based selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and deepen relationships.
  3. Complete training on store experience, products, and systems; review personal results and promotions regularly to stay customer-ready. Assist in store operations, including opening, closing, and securing assets.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by connecting on a personal level, building rapport, and exceeding expectations. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary.
  5. Collaborate with nearby teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer-focused attitude, balancing experience and performance goals.
  • Team-oriented mindset, eager to learn and share best practices.
  • Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly base pay starts at $17.50, with potential incentives and promotion opportunities. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives and are eligible for annual stock grants.
