Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are an essential part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who generate energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a busy retail environment, using digital tools to communicate effectively, educate, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions to identify needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including guiding customers on how to self-serve via the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, new products, systems, and procedures. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and store operations, including opening and closing procedures, securing assets, and reporting issues.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect on a personal level, build rapport and trust, and exceed customer expectations. Proactively follow up, manage referrals, and build relationships with new and existing customers. Perform price overrides for specific offers as needed.
  5. Build relationships with nearby teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account management.
Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Work Experience:
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to connect authentically with customers (Required)
  • Team-oriented mindset, willingness to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Confidence and drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
Additional Information

Hourly base pay starts at $17.50, with on-the-job training and eligibility for incentives during training. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert comes with an annual incentive target of $18,000, with actual incentives based on performance. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including base pay and incentives. Every employee is also eligible for an annual stock grant.
