Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician in Alabama. You will travel to customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of appliances, delivering excellent service and value-added solutions that keep homes comfortable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification required.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude; use of testing and repair tools.
• Experience repairing and diagnosing home appliances preferred.
• Able to read/write and follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customers' homes daily to diagnose and repair appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves).
• Deliver excellent customer experience and exceed expectations.
• Provide value-added solutions to improve home comfort and cleanliness.
• Keep company truck well-maintained and organized; manage parts efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
