Job summary

Sears Home Services seeks an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician to diagnose and repair major home appliances at customers’ homes. You’ll drive to sites, perform quality repairs, explain work clearly, and suggest maintenance options to protect customers’ investments.

You’ll need a high school diploma or GED, EPA certification, mechanical know-how, tool experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role involves heavy lifting and travel up to 100% with overtime.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification is required.
• Mechanical know-how with experience using testing and repair tools.
• Ability to follow repair procedures and perform quality work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.
• Do quality repairs and explain the work clearly to customers.
• Recommend solutions that help customers maintain and protect their homes.
• Keep your company vehicle organized and maintained, and manage parts.
• Handle other assigned duties as needed.
