Job summary

Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking an MMIS Policy Project Coordinator in Saint Paul to lead SASD support for MMIS, EDMS and BlueZone, aligning policy with state and federal rules. You will coordinate complex changes, provide SME guidance, and collaborate with MNIT and partners across DHS to ensure program integrity for HCBS waivers, DD, EW, CADI and other services.

Telework eligible with a day shift, Monday to Friday, and opportunities to influence policy and systems across aging

Qualifications

• 3 years professional experience with MMIS and Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP).
• Experience entering screening documents and service agreements into MMIS and understanding subsystems that support policy for MHCP.
• Knowledge of MMIS subsystems including claims, recipient, provider, prior authorizations, managed care.
• Experience with Minnesota’s LTSS programs and service delivery models for older adults and people with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Serves as SME on MMIS functionality across systems and subsystems.
• Provides enhanced technical research and testing to direct policy changes with MNIT partners.
• Provides leadwork, project management, and SME support to DHS, MNIT and external partners.
• Supports compliance and dissemination of policy information and issue resolution related to MMIS and related systems.
