Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Managed Long Term Services and Supports Program Specialist II (Temporary) to coordinate and support MLTSS initiatives, training and program delivery.

You will build cross-functional partnerships, monitor contracts and regulations, develop materials, and lead process-improvement efforts to ensure timely, compliant outcomes. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to train both internal staff and external partners

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with low economic status populations in community settings.
• 2+ years of program coordination or process improvement experience.
• Experience with document management and administrative procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports initiatives and monitoring of program deliverables in collaboration with senior roles.
• Builds cross-functional relationships to complete programs on time and within scope.
• Maintains knowledge of contracts, regulations, and requirements and ensures compliance.
• Updates departmental materials with SMEs, Legal, Compliance and stakeholders.
• Conducts process improvement and uses data to identify gaps and trends.
• Provides training on topics or sources resources and evaluates effectiveness.
• Represents L.A. Care at community events and health fairs.
• Plans and organizes meetings; prepares agendas and meeting summaries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
